Wild Rose Equine Rescue was started in 2006 by Nanci Cook of Edmonton, Alberta. Her love for horses helped her fuel the on going battle of neglected, abandonded and auction bound horses in Alberta. Alberta has many rescue's all trying to do their part in this battle and Wild Rose striths to work together with as many rescue's, breeders and officials to help our equine friends to a better life.

Wild Rose to date has rehomed 50+ horses into new loving caring homes. We hope to keep the number growing as the years roll on and keep helping horses as we can.

Wild Rose is run out of a private farm located on the NE edge of Edmonton. We keep it running thru the help of volunteers and we greatly appreciate they help they give.

Thanks to everyone for your support, generosity, and help.
